PR Meets Great Coffee
Alchemy Lab utilized the power of social media and coffee well when they transformed their coffeeshop into Luke's Diner from Gilmore Girls (the hit TV show from the early 2000s) for the day on October 5th to celebrate the season premiere 10 years ago.
Free coffee was given out to customers and many Richmonders posted selfies in the "diner" and promoted the event through Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
This is an excellent example of how local business and be boosted and partnerships can bring great awareness to a company. Not to mention free coffee!

Coffee is life. This statement rings true for many and as college students at Virginia Commonwealth University, this life source provides the necessary caffeine to get through those all-nighters each semester.
In addition to the always needed energy jolt, coffee is also a lifestyle choice. Being a person who loves coffee comes with expectations of knowledge of local shops and brands available to true aficionados.
This is where VCU Coffee Lovers comes in. We are a community that seeks to unite VCU students with the excellent, local coffeeshops and provide a space to talk about all the great coffee opportunities Richmond, Virginia provides to students.
