Build Your Brew at Lamplighter's Roasting Seminar!

Many VCU students find their favorite study spot and hangout with friends at Lamplighter Coffee Roaster's location on North Morris Street. The indoor and outdoor seating options, with an excellent menu and assortment of coffee blends join to form an excellent experience at this truly exceptional cafe experience.
With it's fresh, open and bright space, Lamplighter provides an opportunity to relax if you need a study break, or you can take use of their free wifi if you need to get focused on homework. Regardless of what brings you into the cafe, you can always find a great cup of coffee and a pleasant experience.

In addition to providing excellent service and selection, this coffee house also provide classes to develop skills in roasting and brewing coffee (along with tastings!).
Lamplighter is hosting an upcoming 2 hour seminar that will provide an introduction to roasting craft coffee and will demonstrate a roast cycle on both full size and sample roasters, pointing out the key stages of roast development. Attendees will have a chance to cup coffee roasted at varying levels and discuss the chemistry of coffee roasting and flavors. Participants will even get to take home a bag of coffee they roasted from the seminar!
