Alchemy first got their start in Richmond, VA with a sidewalk coffee trailer in the fall of 2012. Moving around the city they found their home at Virginia Commonwealth University and opened their first store on campus at the Arts Depot Building on Broad Street.

Open 7 days a week, Weekdays from 7am-6pm and Weekends from 8am-6pm, you can find your morning spot or your afternoon relaxation comfortably at their indoor or outdoor seating.

One of Alchemy's most prominent campaigns promoted via social media was their "Exchange giftcards." Alchemy would exchange giftcards from corporate coffee brands for one of their own gift cards.

Alchemy does an exemplary job in promoting their brand through social media such as this through being active on Facebook with +3,000 likes and over 1,200 check-ins. On Instagram, Alchemy has over 4,700 followers and close to 2,000 posts. Finally, their Twitter account is also impressive with over 2,000 followers. This is due to their excellent combination of original and curated content that they promote.
